In May 2026, the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Agricultural Industry Workers of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Tashkent City Joint Committee and the “Kasaba sayr” tourism organization of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, organized a spiritual and educational trip to the city of Samarkand on the occasion of “May 9 – Day of Remembrance and Honor.”
The trip was attended by 50 participants, including employees of the industry's member organizations and labor veterans. The main goal of the event was to organize meaningful leisure for the travelers before the holiday, as well as to strengthen their sense of love for the Motherland and respect for our national values and historical heritage.
During the trip, participants visited the “Imam al-Bukhari Complex,” where they received detailed information about the life and scientific legacy of the great scholar. They also visited historical sites and sacred shrines such as the “Mausoleum of Islam Karimov” and the “Shahi Zinda Complex,” getting a closer look at the rich history and spiritual heritage of our country.
This trip, organized on the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Honor, left a great impression on the participants and served as another practical manifestation of the attention and care shown to veterans.
The participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the excellent conditions and sincere attention provided.
