The khokim of the Khonqa district, Ulugbek Davlatov, opened the seminar, emphasizing the crucial role of trade unions in protecting the rights and interests of workers and creating decent working conditions in the agricultural sector.

Gulsara Kurbanbaeva, Chairperson of the Khorezm Regional Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, wished the seminar success and discussed the Federation's ongoing work to protect workers' interests and ensure their social support.

Additionally, Husan Begmatov, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Agricultural Industry Workers, gave a presentation titled "New Uzbekistan — New Trade Unions," providing detailed information on the role of trade unions in the country's socio-economic reforms, achievements, and future priority tasks.

During the seminar, Turgunboy Sanaev, Head of Department at the Republican Council, explained the terms of the competition held among regional primary trade union organizations of advanced farms. Ruzimboy Kurbanov, Deputy Chairman of the Khorezm Regional Farmers' Council, shared insights on the collaborative efforts with trade unions regarding the legalization of labor relations.

Participants visited the "Tomadurgadik" regional primary trade union organization to observe its activities and inspected the conditions provided for workers in the field shelters. At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.
