On May 14, 2026, a training seminar was held to improve the skills of the chairmen of primary trade union organizations of farms within the Sirdaryo regional system of the Agro-Industrial Complex Workers' Union of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Council of the Union E. Bayniyazov, Deputy Khokim of Sirdaryo region for Agricultural Issues A. Khidirov, labor inspectors, representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, and leaders of newly established primary organizations.

Under the motto "New Uzbekistan - New Trade Unions," participants discussed the role of trade unions in ongoing reforms, social partnership in the labor sphere, and collective bargaining mechanisms. Presentations were made on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Trade Unions" and the new Labor Code.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants were awarded professional certificates from the Training Institute of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
